Visit the Plymouth [Michigan] Historical
Museum's permanent exhibit:
"Images of
Lincoln"
The Museum
acquired this fascinating collection from Michigan collector, Dr. Weldon Petz.

Many unique and interesting pieces'of Lincoln Memorabilia are on display, making this
collection not only "one -of- a- kind", but also the largest Abraham Lincoln
collection on display in the State of Michigan!
Included in the exhibit are a
lock of Lincoln's hair, cut from his wound the night of his assassination, a Life Mask and
casts of Lincoln's hands sculpted in 1860 by Leonard Volk, rare chromolithographs of
Lincoln's family and much more.
Exhibit highlights also include:
Life-size Wax figures of Abraham & Mary Todd Lincoln in their Second Inaugural
Ball clothing, and a 36 ft. mural of the Lincoln's at that 1865 event:
Large Civil War mural - Hand carved in Cherry by French artist, Pierre Bataille
