Preserving Civil War History for Generations
At the Abraham Lincoln Civil War Round Table, our mission centers on preserving Civil War history and making it meaningful for members and the wider Michigan community. As a social and informational group, we provide meeting schedules, event updates, and resources that connect history enthusiasts, local residents, and scholars.
Our Mission
The Abraham Lincoln Civil War Round Table is a group of men and women who share a common interest in the War Between the States. Our mission is dedicated to:
- Education: In-depth study and discussion of the Civil War.
- Preservation: Participating in the preservation of battlefields and artifacts.
Our Values
We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all. Our group meets monthly from January to May and September through November to:
- Host speaker presentations on all aspects of the war.
- Discuss issues of preservation and raise money for various projects.
- Disseminate information on local, state, and national Civil War news.
- Recommend Civil War sites to visit and upcoming reenactments.
- Provide equal membership opportunities to all eligible persons without regard to race, religion, or any other characteristic.
